Today the Grand Isle School learned about safety in our community. Two members of the VT Army National Guard landed their Light Utility Helicopter (LUH 72 Lakota) on the soccer field for the kids (young and old) to look at and sit in. Capt. Sam Slater and Chief Warrant Officer 3 Kyle Bowley happily helped the students in and out of the helicopter while answering their questions.
