2022/2023 Ski/Snowboard Program:

Smuggs Waiver

When: 

• Thursday, December 22

• Thursday, January 5

• Wednesday, January 11

• Tuesday, January 17

Time:

• The bus will leave around 8:15 am

• Lessons, which are required, start at 10 am

• Leave to come back to school around 1

• Regular afternoon transportation home

Cost Per Trip:

• $14/youth downhill item

• $18/adult downhill item

• Helmets are required- they can be rented; the cost is $7.

Scholarship

The Grand Isle Rec Committee is once again making scholarship money available to our Grand Isle kids. This money is to help families enroll their kids in this program. Please take advantage of the program if you need it.

Volunteer Chaperones

We need many adults to ensure the success of this program. There are two ways to chaperone once we are at the mountain: “Ski or Ride Chaperones” do just that... ski or ride with a group of students.

There are no lessons for chaperones. “Ground Chaperones” do not ski or ride. They assist students in the rental room, get students to their lesson locations, and are available to take students inside for a bathroom break or to warm up.
