More About Ms. Peat:
Ms Peat has previously taught First Grade and Preschool in New York for 4 years. Ms.Peat moved to Vermont in the Summer of 2020 and is already starting to feel like a real Vermonter!
Growing up, Ms. Peat would play school with her friends, even assigning them homework! She has always wanted to be a teacher. Ms. Peat attended Russell Sage College in Troy, NY for her degree in Psychology and Childhood Education and then returned for her Masters Degree in Special Education.
Currently Ms.Peat lives in Winooski with her family, Dr. Beebe-Peat and Stellaluna, her rescue dog. She enjoys crafting of all sorts, especially making holiday decorations. Ms.Peat also spends as much time as she can with Stella playing and exploring the outdoors. She loves to read, some of her favorite books include Chrysanthemum, School’s First Day of School, and The One and Only Ivan.
